ORANMONISEFAYATI
Today, I have every reason to be grateful.
After reading Tee Shares’ newsletter on gratitude, I felt inspired to share mine.
First, I’m grateful for the days of small beginnings because truly, all things work together for good.
This year felt like a movie.
Different series, episodes and seasons.
At one point, I lost everything
yes, everything.
Even the little money I had, I gave away as a gift.
I was left with nothing.
I mean
nothing.
It was overwhelming, and all I could do was cry and ask myself, How did I get here?
But then, something happened. A family friend (younger brother) came to visit, and I knew I had to play the big sister role with zero cash.
With no money …..ehhhh🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺
I told him to wait in my room while I stepped out for fresh air.
In that moment, I was having a heart-to-heart with GOD.
Then, one of my neighbors came around and asked if I was okay.
I said yes, and he left.
A few seconds later, he texted me: “I want to get a journal. Send me your account number.”
Everywhere first Dey blurry
I did, and he sent me an amount that could buy five journals!
When I asked why, he said, “I don’t need a journal the Holy Spirit told me to gift you that amount.”
As how now….just like that 💃💃💃💃💃💃💃
The first thing I did?
I went back to my room, asked the boy for his account number, sent him some money, cooked, and we had more than enough.
That was just one of many moments where GOD showed up for me.
Another time, I stopped working to focus on something else entirely and still, I survived. Then came the miracle job: a role I never applied for.
It happened through meeting the right people, connecting, and simply speaking good English. Before I knew it, I landed the job.
Looking back at everything I went through in 2025, all I can say is: ORANMONISEFAYATI truly came through for me.
He fathered me so well that I never lacked.
I have more reasons to be grateful, but I’ll share those tomorrow.
For now, I just want to say: Eshey ooooo

Tbh, when I started the gratitude challenge, I lost motivation because no one was reading. Then I said to myself that my gratitude is actually to God just that I want to do it openly.
Reading yours is making me reflect more. The times God showed up for me too. I also won’t stop saying, Oluwa Ese oooo🙏🏽❤️
